Hello friends!
Wanted to pop in and give a little hair update! I hope this finds you all safe and healthy!
So I wasn’t posting anything because I didn’t feel like anything was happening. When I looked in the mirror I didn’t feel like I was seeing a drastic enough change fast enough and I started to get really discouraged. About a week ago I decided to take some pictures, and LOOK. AT. THIS.

On the left are pictures taken the night I got my extensions out at the beginning of March and the right is a pic that was taken on May 31st. Please disregards, my facial expressions! Lol
GUYS! I feel like this is substantial amount of growth for the shape my hair was in! I never measured it, but I wish I would have. I would guess it’s around, or a little under 3 inches. My hair has not been fixed has not been styled in any of these images. I blew the roots dry and let the rest air dry. My ponytail is not only longer, it’s getting thicker! The texture of my hair has also changed! As you, can tell it’s much shiner and looks much less like straw! Seeing these images side by side gave me such a boost in hope and in confidence!
So here’s what I have been doing:
- Monat Restructuring System
- I wash my hair 1 to 2 times a week
- Condition 1st, leave in for a good 3 to 5 minutes, only from the ears down
- Shampoo 2nd, leave in at least 2 minutes, only use on the scalp
- I will go back in with a TINY amount of conditioner if my hair is feeling really dry.
- A little bit of their serum before I style.
- St. Tropica Hair Vitamins
- I found them on Amazon, you can subscribe and save!
- Saw Palmetto
- Recommended by my OBGYN
- I take 3 capsules every night
I know this is kind of a lot of things, and I honestly can’t say if I think it is one thing more than the others, or a combination of the three, but something it definitely working, so I am going to continue this regiment and see where it takes me!
Let me know if you have tried any of these things, or if you had luck with another product!
Thanks for following along with me!
Stay Sassy,
