The lady behind the page

Hello! My name is Cassie Wright.

I grew up out in the country in a small town and still live out in the country fairly close to where I grew up. I am a secretary at our local career technical school, but let’s be honest, my real full-time job is being a mom, wife, homemaker, chef, and wearer of many other hats! My husband is an Agricultural Educator at the high school he attended as a student, and he also makes sure our little homestead and cattle and hay operation functions without a hitch!

We recently welcomed our first child into the world, and that little man has changed everything! The road to getting him here was not an easy one, but it was beyond worth it! He is growing like a weed and I can’t wait to see who he will become.

The struggles of becoming and staying pregnant are what made me turn to blogging. I began to read other people’s stories and realized that I was not alone and that no one else should feel that they are either!

Through this blog, I am going to share with you my journey as a wife, new mother, daughter, sister, friend, employee and everything in between. I am going to be real and honest, about the good and the bad.

I hope my experiences can inspire or help at least one other person along the way.
